YOUNG athletic depth mostly ...makes for a slightly brighter future retread Tommy John arms... not so much
To be fair, yeah coming from me, this trade sends a message (to all) that they are not fucking around and it actually inspired me to like them a little, even it's only one single, solitary cKunt hair more. If they have a learning curve and if owning the all time DL record helps their decision making going forward than that's a good thing. Jury's out on that one but this trade was bad ass, IMO! There, I said it!
To add: Kinda funny how, as supposedly genius forward thinkers, they are both fixated on their old teams and/or the one team that beat TB in the WS.
TBT, but also trying to get the same guys who beat you may have been a better option say, 6 years ago?
Nerds should get Alexei Ramirez out of SD... probably could be had for a bucket of Van Slykes. And hit better against lefties. Lot better, look... .306 .359 .417 While he is not a great defender at SS he can serve as insurance for Seager if he has to rest for whatever reason. And of course play 2B against lefties.
Bumping my B to a B+ simply because of the AJ trade Could have timed it better but now he's gone so the healing can begin
Dodgers need just a .500 record the remainder of the way to reach the 90 win mark. 4 straight 90+ win seasons and a solid farm starting to graduate. Should continue to be in the hunt for years to come. Hopefully a WS or two or five mixed in there.
at this point i think the lowest grade one could give would be a c i've got them at b, based on the team they've assembled not sure if they should be graded on how the team performs though tbh
