    good to hear...
    • The Dodgers are believed to be in talks to re-sign J.P. Howell, who was the team's primary left-handed reliever by the end of the season.

Wouldn't mind seeing Howell back, but hope it isn't for anything longer than 2 years. Like Wilson, Howell has a bit of a checkered injury history. The team is rumored to be pursing another top end reliever, so my guess is that it is Howell since we don't have a reliable lefty anywhere in the system. If we can bring JP back, that would make our BP set and looking very dangerous, especially if Paco, Dominguez and Elbert can all come back healthy for Spring. Topping it all off with a ST invite for Marmol wouldn't be all that bad as well.

If only we had a manager who knew how to handle the bully we wouldn't have to worry about guys 'coming back'.

I don't speak ill of Donnie much but he didn't learn from Joe's mistakes.

Two years with a team option for three. Important piece to the team but not a must sign at three years guaranteed

I'd let him go. Onelki or a buy low candidate for 2nd LHRP. No need to have a 30 million dollar BP.

Not to mention this seems like the last straw on Chris Reed the SP. If he falters to start the year I'd be he switches to a relievers and is up shortly after.

No need to have a BMW 7 series but if you can afford it without breaking a sweat, why not?

Because eventually you have to pay $200 for an oil change, and whether you can afford it or not, that's just silly.

If you can afford a 7 series $200 for your cars oil change is like $200 for dinner just another expense in life. The bottom line for some is net worth and is it growing and at what rate. If you are accomplishing your financial goals and your net worth is increasing is often the goal. So with Dodger ownership if they are accomplishing their goals and the net value of the franchise is increasing the real cost might be part of doing business. The value added benefit of an expensive bulletin might be the insurance to keep the stands full in September. This franchise set a standard last year and did something remarkable. It went from fans boycotting games to leading the majors in both home and away attendance. We often had more fans than the home team in some series and just imagine the angst on the part of Diamondback management when Dodger Blue ruled in THEIR stadium. That is priceless and worth being certain we maintain.

Would you rather pay $100 for a decent meal or $200 for a great one that you will remember and want to come back for more.

I'm just messing with you, TP. I mean, I hate pretty much anything having to do with or related to Europe... But I was really just messing.

    Sign JP Howell already, Dodgers.

No doubt, I just love having owners who are all in on winning fans over and giving us maximum value for THEIR dollar. That is unique.
