Imagine if the Angels signed Cano and he declined with the quickness, that'd be awesome. Of course, he could stay the same and Hamilton and Pujols can be really fucking good again as well.
yeah, that'd be strange to me. Their offense is not the problem. If they are going to throw big money, they should throw it at Garza/Tanaka/Nolasco.
Well the offense is part of the problem, but unless Cano is a great hitting instructor, faith healer, pastor, and pisses the fountain of youth out of his cockhole to fix Pujols and Hamilton....WTF will it matter? Oh and I forgot, can Cano fucking pitch too? That owner is destroying that team by over spending...is that possible? LOL
When you pay old, ex-roiders a poop ton of money, it's certainly possible. It's a shame because Hamilton was one of my favorite players before signing with the Angels. It's like he signed his death sentence.
Trying to trade Kendrick with a good contract to sign Cano with a disastrous contract would be stupid.
If I'd have read this thread earlier I'd of posted that word for word... Arte is clueless thinking that bringing in old hitters means shit when you lose 60% of your starting pitching. And then they blame Scioscia? Letting Kendrick leave would also be a stupid love... so we'll see...
They have the third highest team wOBA and OPS. 7th worst ERA, 6th worst FIP. Their offense is definitely good enough. It might decline with declines to Hamilton/Pujols, but they don't need much help there meanwhile getting two quality starters could go a big ways. They fucked up, especially having zero farm
That's all well and good, but it's obvious to watch that team and think how much better (offensively) they should be. Hamilton and Pujols really disappointed the Angel fans.
The funniest thing to me is them trading Jean Segura for Greinke; only for them to miss the playoffs, Segura to turn into an All-Star, and Greinke signing with us. Lol.
