Greater than sign and less than sign ? Dave's unwavering allegiance to mediocrity... just what the fans need, ultimately. Greater than everyone else in the NLW most of the time... Less than everyone else who wins the playoffs and WS...
pretty classic was going to post it elsewhere, but i figure most of you will be here so… https://youtube.com/shorts/
For the most part, Dodgers have not hit Bassitt well. Not that I want to see Lux sit for the second straight game following his possible break-thru on Wednesday, but Rojas is really the only Dodger that has had meaningful success against Bassitt - 6 for 12, 1.121 OPS (while Lux is 1 for 7). Actually, Lux should've played yesterday and then could have been given today off, but far be it for The Scarecrow to plan two games in advance like that. It probably hurts his head to even plan what clothes to put on in the morning.
Stat ... do you have a podcast? Because you should. And I'd GLADLY contribute content if you'd want any. Matter of fact ... why doesn't this group have a podcast yet? Every other nitwit, dumbass, and retarded wokester has one. Why not us?
Pretty much expect Stone to get lit up today. He's just too green still to piece together back-to-back gems.
Whoa, I just took a look at JT's stats, and damn... he's still good. I got to thinking - last year at the age of 38, he registered his most ABs in a season, and that translated to career highs in hits and RBIs. So even though he's in the twilight of his career, he's playing more games now than in all those seasons under Roberts and producing more. Why is that? Sure, he dealt with a few injuries, but not in each of his nine years in LA. I'll tell you why. It's Roberts' gay-ass platooning, L/R matchups, regular days off, "everybody plays" little league mentality. You know, that approach that has resulted in exactly ONE pandemic-shortened championship. Just another example of how he's not the right guy for the role. Anyhow, I wish we had let CT go and re-signed JT.
Ugh... normally I'd like this lineup, but how do you leave Rojas out when he's 6 for 12 off this pitcher?
