Just got back from the mom-in-laws decidedly Southern Thanksgiving feast. Turkey? No, ham. Mashed potatoes? Nope, turnip greens. Stuffing? Pish, gimme them candied yams. Traditional trimmings? Oh, you mean like black-eyed peas, boiled cabbage, butter beans, chicken and rice casserole, baked beans, and deviled eggs? Yup, all them favorites. Throw in some pan fried cornbread, wash it down with iced tea, and pineapple upside-down cake and strawberry cake for desert. Yessir, THIS turkey is STUFFED!
