Yeah I'm sure Baer will live. What he did in public wasn't assault, but that's just what we see. If he's willing to go to that place in a public setting, makes one curious as to how far he's willing to go behind closed doors. And maybe the org knows just how far he's willing to go behind closed doors. They know him best. Either way, they both looked ridiculous in that vid and probably deserve one another. As for the team's lack of support..I can say this, owners are supposed to be held to a higher standard. Baer put the org in this position, where they have to choose very carefully how to move forward. Do right and none of this happens. He worked hard at building what they have and now they're tryin to protect what he had a large hand in building. That's how it works. Anyway it goes..he's well off, he'll be fine at the end of the day
He spent a lifetime playing with the big boys for big stakes. He knows the game and its rules. He f*cked up. But I'm not playing any sad songs for him. He was rich before the incident and will be rich after.
He yanked a cell phone from her, causing her to lose her balance and fall. Like you say, not a good look, especially for a public figure, but still way overblown in my opinion.
Lakers in the mix for Trey Burke. Better than re-signing Rondo Just let Burke back up Caruso, see what happens at trade deadline
They are trying to get back to play with ANY team. We're looking because we need players now even if Kawhi chooses us.
I'll have to trust you then. I'm looking for any kind of positive sign regarding Kawhi so here it is, the Galaxy beat Toronto FC tonight 2 - 0.
Spencer Melton 1255am (not sure how reliable) Last update of the night per source- Had permission to share this convo. Reiterated what I said earlier. Kawhi has let the Lakers know he is coming. Again, no one knows what time, day, or minute. Only Kawhi does... I have doubled and tripled down on this. Kawhi will be a Laker https://t.co/xF9aSFNdLs
LeBron should pitch Kawhi with the opportunity to go down in NBA history as the dude who helped restore the tarnished legacies of these the most sorriest of future hall of famers. Melo, Dwight, and Vince Carter.... hell why not Joe Johnson from the Big 3. The following year we will bring in Rose, Millsap, and probably Chris Paul. What other old guys want to chase their first ring once they get waived?
