    Giving him more money than he's ever made when he'll never do what he's done in the past
    Top dollar for past performance...outdated and no longer works. I hope the Dodgers spit on the Cano market

    Pretty certain he'll hit the market, we'll have 2B vacant and a fresh TV deal. People will be mentioning the Dodgers.
    But we need to be smarter.

    The only way I'd sign him:
    4 years (never gonna happen)
    We've been able to dump other bad contracts
    A new progressive GM is in charge and makes a calculated decision. Not Ned splurging.

    Something with the Dodgers isn't working and I'm not sure adding a mega deal for a player due to decline is gonna change the tide. If Kemp just performs like Kemp we're so much better.

    We need to restructure the pen and get guys who will catch the ball. No on Cano for me.

    P.S
    Obviously there are plenty of guys who could hit into their late 30s. Kent was a badass. But Kent wasn't a 200 million MVP expecting investment.

    Idc. If we can win with him, yes. If it's like this year, no.

    Doesn't matter what I think though. It's how the FO thinks. He actually is producing so it's intriguing.

    For low years, yes. Nothing above five. The FO has already said this big spending moment is only temporary since our farm sucks balls. And if anyone is going to get huge money from us, it'll be CK.

    Well, barring a pretty significant turnaround, the draft pick will be protected. So theirs that.

    I'll be honest, i'm about a 3-7 10-game stretch from not caring about this season.

    if guggenheim wants to add another superstar, sure
    cano's talent is inarguable
    but he alone isn't enough to right this sinking ship

    He's a latin player so he's on PED's in his contract year. Big no, his body will deteriorate faster than Ethier's once he inks the deal and doesn't care about performance.

    His name was linked to the BioGenics thing once, and then it dissappeared. I don't know why. He's so PEDed it ain't even funny. That HR derby 2 years ago was all I needed to see.
