I hope Davey doesn't get complacent with his lineups and other moves as he tends to with lesser opponents.

Well, JT played back-to-back games, so he's due for a rest day. Probably Muncy too. So I fully expect McKinney, Pujols, and Bellinger in the lineup.

In all fairness, my right nut could start & outhit Bellinger these days. And that's the smaller nut, too. No question the left one would outhit Muncy as well.

Ok, @irish ... I did my best. If you can't do something with THIS post, you've lost your touch.

Jackson pitched well the first time, but was it a fluke? Seems like there were some loud outs and a lot of base runners.

Why isn't Mitch back up for this start?

    I know, racist.

White pitched 5+ innings Tues night in Visalia. Saw it in person.

Jackson probably got through unscathed because it was the Pirates.

Last, night I had to watch this " clubhouse" broadcast, or SD announcers, so I did this clubhouse thing. It was with Chris Young, CC Sabathia, Pedro Martinez, and a host. Like just some guys sitting in a living room watching the game. No formal broadcasting going on.
They talked and argued about everything, including hitting Cody in the linup every day, even at the expense of AJ Pollock, best BA in the ML since 7/7. Young said it doesn't make any sense at all to keep guy struggling like Bellinger in there, at his expense.
CC was absolutely adamant about he would play him every day without.fail, no matter what Pollock was hitting.
Incredible. Unwavering, he was. I was surprised actually. " He wasn't an MVP" he said.
Pedro said, " If I'm Roberts, there's no way I'm telling Max Scherzer, all pumped up, pitching a shutout, a guy with two different color eyes, he's not starting the eighth inning...no way. Ain't happening."
    That one made sense...

Yeah, we're due for an ass kicking, let's face it. I just don't see starting Graterol, but it doesn't matter.

Why not start Andre like...uh...a regular starter in a game..what's the big psychological move by starting a high leverage reliever who we could use way later on?
    I just don't get it...
