Andre Ethier has the highest OPS+ he's had in a season since 2010. He's on pace to have the highest fWAR and 2nd highest rWAR of his career. He's leading the team in OPS among qualified players. He's 20th in the MLB in wOBA vs RHP.

    So this is appropriate

Dee Gordon: So bad that even when we want to bench all the starters for two days, he still doesn't play.

You've probably tracked this everyday for the past 30 days, since he is just .005 ahead of Adrian. Anyways, I am still underwhelmed by Ethier's season, except for his OBP.

But he wasn't... because he never got to play in one to get injured in. Got injured in some bullshit game that had zero to do with us.
How is that logical...periodically, it seems from time to time the old "and if my aunt had balls she be my uncle" is so appropriate.
He could get injured in the dugout squeezing and hugging Puig/Uribe, too.
I just don't get it. Must be a "too old to get it" thing.

I think it's unfortunate that people think this way about Ethier. In my opinion he has mad a strong case to be the teams MVP. Of our FOUR outfielders, he's the only one to play virtually everyday, all season long. He's one of only TWO Dodgers that have enough at bats to qualify for anything. Grant it, he's not going to win any batting titles or anything but without him on the team we play Skip in RF or CF for most of the season. Andre has been under appreciated all season. He's played stellar D in CF and didn't complain when he was asked to move to LF a couple times. So he's played all 3 outfield positions when needed. That sounds like a team player to me and not the prima donna that some have claimed him to be. That being said, I still think he's the odd man out with a healthy Kemp, Crawford, Puig combo next season unless a miracle trade allows us to move Crawford for a quality 2B that can hit .300 and lead off.

Another stat that keeps jumping out for me is our run differential. On June 21 we had a -51 DIFF and now we're +73. I feel like we got pissed off and turned off the playstation before it saved and restarted the season that day.

Dee Gordon isn't worthy enough to touch a cup that is about to be filled with Blue Moon.

An interesting lineup at best, and what's funny is there enough balls and vets to make it a competitive game.....hummmmm, what should I do tonight? Romper room with the wife heard.

    my sentiments exactly
he was doing something non-dodger related when he was injured
i don't buy the "he could have been injured while playing with us" argument
about as relevant as "he could have been hit by a bus"...
