    Hanley fails in the 18th giving up the lead. He looked like Crawford out there. Huge liability. Big outfields are going to swallow him up. At least with the Green Monster the CF can get over to back him up.

    Steven Wright, who pitched the last several innings for the RedSox was about to be optioned to AAA tomorrow anyways, so that's nice.

    I'm being optimistic, but with those draft picks and all signs pointing to going crazy in the international market, 2015 might be a year that in the future will be looked back to point at when a new wave of talent came from within.

    New York Mets closer Jenrry Mejia has been suspended 80 games after testing positive for stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance, Major League Baseball announced Saturday.


    "I know the rules are the rules and I will accept my punishment, but I can honestly say I have no idea how a banned substance ended up in my system," Mejia said in a statement.

    Jenrry Mejia is the fourth player suspended by MLB for stanozolol use since March 27. The suspension goes into effect immediately. Mejia will not appeal.
