I actually was referencing grumpy old white guys. You know the ones that take the statement silver made as being that serious. Enough that it affects you watching a game, which it never does btw, once the game actually starts. so you jumped the gun there.
Tony Allen signs with the Pelicans, 1yr/2M Damn good addition for them Cousins, Davis, Rondo, Allen, Holiday, Ian Clark, Asik
No elite shooters, but Cousins, Holiday, Clark, and Rondo all shot 37% from deep last year They'll be defending better with Allen, Rondo and Clark
sure thing you glow in the dark silver is a slender gay plastic tool that i couldn't care less about sure some overly sensitive slacks that never contributed anything to our society may sit on his words but he's and idiot for encouraging his minions to grab the mike and make their case that for sure will make me tune out cause i don't want to hear it even if it agreed exactly w how i feel i just want to see sports but i'm sure for some the comments of ball players are compelling or they can ignore it either way its not exactly a brilliant play for the sport pretty sure the NFL is feeling since all those angry white racist trump voters aren't watching football
Christmas is coming early for Kobe Bryant — the Lakers are planning to retire his jersey before the Warriors game on Dec. 18 … multiple sources tell TMZ Sports. The Lakers aren’t officially acknowledging it — but the team sent a letter to Lakers season ticket holders advising them to “hold on to your tickets for the game on Dec. 18” for a “special event.” We’ve made some calls and everyone’s saying the same thing … it’s Kobe’s big night. Now the only question that remains is if they will retire No. 8, 24 or both, although it will likely be both as no player has worn either number since him and he had so many monumental moments with both numbers. Bryant will be the 10th player in franchise history to have his jersey retired.
Lakers beat reporter Mike Trudell reported that Brandom Ingram has literally grown taller this summer according to what he’s seen from his workouts this summer. Trudell spoke on his radio show on Monday about the 20-year-old who’s officially listed at 6-foot-9, but Trudell thinks he’s bigger than that after a summer growth spurt. “I think he’s at least 6’10”. He might be 6’11”,’ Thompson and Trudell show on ESPN radio Los Angeles. “I think he might be 6’11”, if not 7 feet.” Could also be in for a little of this with Zo, you never really know. If Zo catches a couple inches and is 6'8"-ish running PG
Randle has physically transformed over the summer, going from having a bit of baby fat to completely cut in the span of a few months. The man behind that physical transformation, Amoila Cesar, went on the Laker Film Room podcast Tuesday and revealed the specific ways he thinks Randle’s Extreme Makeover, Six-Pack edition is going to help his game. "You're going to see that No. 1 he's always going to be the best-conditioned guy on the court. You're going to see more rebounding. A lot more on the defensive end, that's for sure,” Cesar said. “Another thing that you're going to see is that he's going to make smarter choices. I think when fatigue kicks in that has a lot to do with some of his miscues on the court.” After a season in which he shot 27 percent on 3-pointers, many have pined for Randle to develop a jump shot in order to better open up the floor for both himself and his teammates, and it sounds like he’s attempted to do just that. “His jump shot has improved drastically and I've seen it. He's hitting a lot of threes,” Cesar said. While Randle developing even a semi-reliable jumper would be huge for his game moving forward, his bread and butter will likely always be his helter-skelter drives to the rim. According to Cesar, Randle has gotten better at those as well. “One of his biggest concerns was being able to absorb the contact as he's going to the rim, and that's one of his biggest improvements is playing more controlled,” Cesar said. “You'll see this year he's going to play a lot more under control, with more precision. He's playing with a purpose.”
LeBron James was seen scouting out Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, one of the most storied Catholic schools in the L.A. area. His oldest son, LeBron James Jr., will turn 13 next month and likely will have to take the next step in education. Coincidentally, James Sr. will be a free agent by then and free to take the next (and possibly last) grand step of his basketball career. Rumors have run rampant about James’ possible transition to play for the Los Angeles Lakers and if having a home in the area wasn’t enough, looking for schools to put his kids into might just be the bow to wrap that move to the City of Angels.
My biggest complaint concerning Randle on a nightly basis was his seemingly always being fatigued, if that alone has changed he's going to fare well I won't even really care if he ever becomes adept at going right or hitting 3 pointers if he's in great shape and ready to do dirty work If Draymond is capable of playing center @ 6'6", Randle should be thirsting to prove he can do the same
Yeah the fatigue but also the space cadet moments granted he's a kid still and getting fit cannot hurt I want to see fire out of his nostrils every moment he's on the floor tenecious D and punishing O he shows flashes but his leash is running thin he needs to step up and now
Scary to consider if you're an opposing GM scary for Lakers fans too No denying the mercenary nature of his travels, hate to be tainted with it then again.. a ring is a ring
notre dame is a very good school both academically and athletically played against them many times in high school -- nice guys and very well coached stanton went there i think
