easy reading between the lines… “These are our [bullpen] guys. They have track records and we have to keep running them out. But we’ve gotta perform. I think there’s always going to be a spot every night for a guy like Evan, and you can’t fire that bullet every night. Vesia to go back out there to get the 9 hitter and to get Nimmo, I don’t expect three straight hits, to be quite honest. You have to understand the rhythm of the game too. If I knew that it was going to be bases loaded and Evan was ready. But I’m not going into that inning expecting bases loaded and nobody out either. So I felt good with Alex going right there and taking down one or two outs potentially with three hitters, and having Phil behind him, but that just wasn’t the case.”
no chance the one part is too busy trying to coerce (read: beat down lib whitey) into reparation compensation
Rowan Kavner@RowanKavner Dave Roberts said it’s at least a possibility Mookie Betts could play some shortstop upon his return from the paternity list: “He’s been clamoring for quite some time.” 4:27 PM · Apr 18, 2023 · 10.6K Views playing a gold glove outfielder out of position should be a fireable offense fuck what he’s clamoring for… you’re the manager — do what’s best for the team… pencil him in RF every day and stfu fucken dumbass
idk on this one on one hand my first reaction is to hate it but it could work hated when they tried Loney in right but Cody in center sure worked when he looked like the best first baseman ever still all that twisting and turning at short certainly seems to increase potential for injury on another note that Max guy sure looks familiar
this team reminds of so many subpar dodger teams of the 80’s and 90’s except this team actually possesses talent those prior teams didn’t have this team looks bored, ruder less, uninspired and for that you have to blame the manager tommy‘s teams didn’t always win, but they always tried even when they underachieved, i liked those teams i do not like this team
It's really a toy for him and he's allowed to do whatever ridiculous and sophomoric moves he wants, without any questions or valid responsibility, except the losing record. I assume not of importance. Like the chemistry set you got as a kid and just mixed anything together and burnt it to see if it blew up or stunk up the place, without any knowledge of the results. From totally ludicrous lineup moves like sitting a white hot player the day after his slump is over, to batting a seriously struggling player at cleanup, to completely disagreeing with his failing pitching moves he makes almost every game, and saying you can't use that bullet every night. Let's throw away established bb, and experiment ! Yeehah !!! I think he has lost any acumen he ever had, never too much, and he simply just shows up every night. His incompetence will be characterized as " keeping the team afloat until it gets all it's pieces back".
this fucken idiot “I think today was just, across the board, just wasn't very good,” manager Dave Roberts said.
genius Roberts, when asked why the Dodgers we’re struggling: “I don’t really know the reason for it.” tbt he could answer any question this way and no one would be surprised .
