Even though we made Kelly look like Drysdale, he's pretty overrated. Plus we have homefield advantage.
I'm in the same thought with Kennedy. I think I'd go Greinke tomorrow, if he wins, Nolasco game 5, Kersh game 6, and then Greinke again. But if Greinke losses tomorrow, then Kersh, Nolasco, and Greinke.
My thinking is... if they lose tomorrow, they have to win 3 in a row which isn't likely. You gotta try to tie the series and go from there. Greinke gives us the best chance to do that.
No time like the present. Can't worry about game 5, 6 or 7. If you don't win tomorrow you're pretty much done. Put your best on the bump tomorrow and then worry about Wednesday on Wednesday.
It's time to win big and send a message not to fuck with our guy!! Bring in Beli just to put one in Beltran and Molina's ribs!!
I say do it if they plunk Adrian or Hanley again but big picture here. They never saw third base last night and haven't been able to get on to save their lives this series, no need to help them.
If you're committed to pitching Nolasco, why not pitch him in the final Dodger Stadium night game of the series and let everyone else go on normal rest? It's going to be almost 90 degrees for Game 5.
Agree 100% Tonight is against their worst pitcher. Last Dodger Stadium night game. Allows Greinke to go on normal rest. Kershaw is lined up for some relief work tonight. Pitching Nolasco lines up the two lefties to pitch in St Louis. I was the biggest proponent of Kershaw in game 4 last series, but everything points to a game that Nolasco should pitch tonight. I just don't get the idea of Greinke tonight and Nolasco tomorrow. Tonight is not a must-win, as much as I hate to say it.
