    or he needs some trainwreck:
Trainwreck is a mind-bending hybrid with potent sativa effects that hit like a freight train. Mexican and Thai sativas were bred with Afghani indicas to produce this Northern California staple, passing on a sweet lemon and spicy pine aroma. Trainwreck begins its speedy hurtle through the mind with a surge of euphoria, awakening creativity and happiness. Migraines, pain, and arthritis are mowed down by Trainwreck’s high THC content, and many patients also use it for relief of anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and PTSD. Trainwreck flowers finish up in early October outdoors, while indoor gardens are ready for harvest 8 weeks into flowering.

Difficult scenarios emerged dealing with Orioles at Trade Deadline
by Matthew Moreno | Dodger Blue — 4 hours ago

Leading up to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, it was believed the Los Angeles Dodgers were focused on potentially acquiring one or more from Zach Britton, Yu Darvish and Sonny Gray. Los Angeles was also connected to Brad Hand and Justin Wilson.

The Detroit Tigers struck an agreement to package Wilson to the Chicago Cubs on the eve of the deadline. The Dodgers were unsuccessful in prying Britton from the Orioles, but did send shockwaves throughout baseball by trading for Darvish a few minutes prior to the 1 p.m. PT deadline.

Los Angeles was not the only team unable to acquire Britton, as the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals were among the teams with reported interested that also failed to complete a deal.

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, the Orioles made a late decision to not trade Britton:

"The Dodgers, at one point Monday, also felt they were progressing toward a deal for Britton, sources said. But about one hour before the deadline, the Orioles pulled back and informed the Dodgers that they would not trade their reliever, a two-time All-Star."

In addition to the Dodgers facing some difficulty in negotiations with the Orioles, the Astros were left in a similar position despite reaching a tentative agreement on a trade for Britton:

"The Orioles went dark on both the Astros and Dodgers for several hours, sources said; the breakdown with the Astros occurred while the teams were in the medical review stage."

While the Dodgers managed to rebound by trading for left-handed relievers Tony Cingrani and Tony Watson, albeit both of whom aren’t of the elite level as Britton, the Astros’ lone move was to acquire Francisco Liriano from the Toronto Blue Jays.

A failure to acquire a high-impact pitcher at the trade deadline left Astros ace Dallas Keuchel disappointed, which he recently conveyed to reporters.

Handwringing with the Orioles is hardly a new development, as owner Peter Angelos has steadfastly refused to become a seller at the annual deadline during his tenure. Baltimore fielded interest for Britton last season and presumably will do so again in 2018, when he’s in the final year of his contract.

funny stat posted late on 7/31...
    • Their Dodgers odds to win the NL West before Monday's trade deadline stood at 100 percent. After the deadline? Still 100 percent.

Old "friend" Mike Bolsinger getting worked over as always for the Jays. Just gave up a 3 run bomb to Marwin Gonzalez. I love it.

now if britton were to somehow clear waivers

That ship sailed a long time ago. Maybe the Cubs can get him hoping it will keep them above .500

Looking ahead to possible August deals, was thinking of the playoff roster. So, under the assumption of 11 pitchers and 14 position players, the 6 man bench looks like:

    Barnes, Utley, Enrique, ____, ____, ____

I'd bet they'd want one more lefty power bat and one right hander. So, one of Adrian/Ethier and for right handers, Farmer might be in the lead since Trayce sucks and it would allow them to use Barnes more

For the last spot, it could go to the other person between Adrian or Ethier or I wonder if they begin to think about adding a player... left handed outfielder might not hurt to maybe replace Logan in the lineup against righties or at worst be a good bench bat (Jay Bruce? granderson?). Or a right handed CF might not hurt to use instead of Enrique and you put Enrique in RF against lefties since he sucks in CF. I don't know if a right handed CF who'd fit this.

Just a thought but I'd bet they make at least one trade in August. Probably try to find a reliever but maybe a position player as well
