first question was about the ball baez hit
to which he replied "that's your first question"
later someone asked something someone already asked
"i think i already answered that"

he wasn't rude
in fact he was very accommodating with everyone else
just a couple dumb questions like vrp said
and kersh clearly didn't have time for it

 

like i said multiple times before the game
win tonight and it's a different series

after the 2 inning i thought, "we're going to need more than 1 run"
i then though, "maybe we won't"

preston wilson on mlb network said bunting in that situation was [puig] giving up, conceding that chapman was better than you

Different vibe with CK on the mound tonight than vs the Nats. Felt 100x more confident tonight for some reason....winning the NLDS and having him close it out has helped the nerves a lot. We were favored to beat them whereas we are big underdogs vs the media darling Cubs.

 

another streak we need to keep alive...

 

and it think we can do away with the "can't pitch well in the postseason" thing

 

they brought up an interesting thought on baseball tonight
going to be tough for the cubs facing a curveball pitcher like hill with the dodger stadium shadows at 5pm
are the shadows still a thing at 5pm or are they gone by then?

 

Just 1 team has had his number, the Cards. And he shut them down prior to the 7th inning in both 2014 outings but our bullpen was so bad that we were scared to pull him. An annoying thing that casual fans harp on because it's trendy.
