No it's not just you, it seems like it was decades ago. We have been such a mess that it is tough to remember anything positive under McCourt.

Loney's grand slam against the Cubs was almost on par with this for me.

I know Manny gets a lot of flack now, but he was one of the reasons that magical run happened (can it be magical even though we didn't make the world series?) But yes, those two years are long gone. I really do miss that time. Made everything feel right.

UH...that's what I think they call "right down the middle"...that's better pitch than Downing grooved for Hank.

    the loney slam was unreal

loney has a pretty swing too when he gets a hold of one

for me though, that Cards comeback was something else. we were getting waxed by Wainwright and his damn curveball. super young Kershaw held his own, Dre went yard. no way we were to win that game. TLR was stupid taking out wainwright, but im glad he did. that 9th inning was the best

dodgers suck, but man im missing some dodger baseball right about now

Yup Loney slam and Loretta were awesome. Another great one was Game 2 of the 09 NLCS. When Utley threw the ball away and Pierre scored, then I think Furcal or Blake walked. I was so down considering the way we lost in 08 and started in 09, when we won that game I was so pumped, wore my Koufax jersey the next day and everything.

The 4 home runs were awesome, and Finley even though I was a little young, still jumped up and down.
