I understand your point but we are right now a cash flow challenged franchise that still has to put a reorganization plan together and present it to the court. Now that recent extension by Judge Gross to do that has raised some questions.

I wonder how many "fans" the Dodgers lost to the Analheim club now. By "fans" I mean the fenceriding pieces of shit that jump on the L.A. team that's better on paper or more popular.

I'm getting guys at work that have probably never watched a full baseball game in their pathetic lives asking me about Pujols and how are the Anals gonna be now.

I like Castillo and Guzman out of that bunch. They may turn into the McD of this year. If McD wants anything more than $1M, peace the fuck out and let one of these two guys get the job.

If we sign Crisp and Sands sets the world on fire in training camp would he still go down?

I think Sands and some other guys like Loney or Ethier should and will be in a trade soon for a big bat.

i would give up loney, ethier, and a minor league pitcher for top of the line hitter in a heartbeat as long as its the pitcher is not zach lee

i would aim a little higher than that if possible because im afraid of wrights decline due to a few important factors

    i would hope so
otherwise its quite possibly addition by subtraction
hopefully loney starts 2012 like he ended 2011
and hopefully returns to 2010 form
that of course would be ideal

Ned would never get Wright - he's under 30.

if we do get wright then he is pretty much a wash with ethier offensively if both are playing up to their capabilities
but thats a big if... for both of them
so the deal might not be as bad for us as we think in the long run
specially if it means 3B is covered for a few years until Wright has to move to 1B
in the meantime we use Sands/Rivera at 1B
    kemp can move to RF
we stick our best defender at CF or sign a guy like Coco Crisp
we stick one of our scrubs at LF for now or a young guy
either way if LF is open then it gives us an easy place to drop in a bad defending power hitter
or we can stick the rivera/sands combo there and go all out for a Prince Fielder type at 1B

we continually have scrubs at LF and 1B and get the least amount of production out of those positions in the entire MLB
and its the two easiest places to find offense from
over anything else that should be enough to have your GM fired for incompetence
