DODGERS: Offseason Thread

He's a sinker baller, his GB% plummeted and his HR/FB sky rocketed. His line drive percentage went all the way from 16.8 to 22, and his LOB percentage went from 68.9 to 79.9 (totally amazingly lucky). All the signs of serious regression are there.

 

I am sure he wants them back but is he able to pay them what the arbitration rate would bear? Sure if they will sign cheap for next year but think about Kemps new contract actually only pays him 10 million for next year. Now will Dre accept less than that when arbitration would give him more? Or will Eithier be higher paid then Kemp next year. What about Loney will he be willing to accept less than what he could get through arbitration if tendered? Can you imagine Loney at 7 million and Kemp at 10 million. Might be cool with Kemp and perhaps the discount was so we could keep Dre and Loney if we don't get Fielder. Who knows? Only time will tell.

BARF. I fucking hate Wilson and don't even understand why he is in the majors (I don't give a fuck if he was a vaccum at SS), much less why we are looking at him. I hate IDJ2 and think he's more compotent with the bat than this fuck.

Guys, Ned has coveted Jack Wilson since the beginning of time. This shouldn't seem like it's coming out of Left Field. I'm actually almost 100% positive that we've been rumored to acquire Jack Wilson at the trade deadline, each of the last 4 years.

I signed on before, came in this thread and wondered what Ruven had done to the forum to cause an old topic to pop back up. Only to realize we are really thinking about Jack Wilson now. WTF? We could have middle infield down the home stretch of wilson and valez. What would we do keep Sellers down?
