It's like I've been saying ever since we signed him, AJ Pollock is the man.
Anyone who has slandered him clearly doesn’t know baseball
AJ Pollock is the perfect example of why none of us should have Friedman’s or even Dave Roberts’ job
It sure doesn't leave any room for a CF who initially breaks back on a fly ball that lands 10 ft. in front of him eventually. That kind of OF excellence doesn't help Toomgis at all, along with all the other albatrosses around his neck.
Interesting that will myers came back with a 989 ops in the first big money year of his contract. Credit to him, i thought he was done.
Has there ever been a league MVP who's looked so bad the following season?
Dammit Kolarek, you can’t walk dudes and give up hits to lefties
Warning: written by a colossal idiot, but might have the info you're looking for
Gotta throw strikes dude
So there has been some chatter about Smith struggling a bit behind the dish and man I have to say that I am starting to see it. It's not the blocking, but his framing (which he has received high marks for in the past) is pretty mediocre. He jabs at a lot of pitches that are in the zone and costs the pitchers a decent bit of strikes.
8 straight balls to right handers. What the fuck man?
Too early in the day to be this annoyed
im pretty convinced we needa go with 3 catchers in the playoffs, so we can start Barnes and DH Smith some days., especially and easily against lefty starters
still don’t understand why roberts didn’t just have may start
oh wait... roberts
You could certainly argue that based on age, health and just how much of a step back it has been compared to last year, this is the worst follow up campaign to an MVP season is history.
I think you don't understand because you don't understand baseball...we've been elite under him.
Definitely see it having to do with the playoffs and needing him to get used to pen work, but also May has faced the Padres a lot in a short time in the big leagues. Wonder with all his recent contact issues, if they want to see if they may be able to mess with a teams gameplan when bringing him in this way.
I wonder how Graterol would be as a starter. Still only has 2 pitches, but wonder if he could
I’d walk turner to get to Muncy lol
I can't say this enough, I hate Manny Machado and I'd love to see him wear a May fastball to the face
