DODGERS Dodgers vs. Rays - WORLD SERIES

I’m scared that we may win and I won’t get the fulfillment I always expected from it. Heavy but where I’m at lmao

 

I think he used to cover the Marlins, so he may be a Florida guy.

 

I feel that if we win, a general weight will be lifted off my shoulders. I was an insane Dodgers and Lakers fan growing up. When the Lakers finally won one in my life I was able to relax more and just enjoy the games. I used to be able to do that with the Dodgers when we were ehh cause it was just harmless fun knowing there was no carrot at the end. All the close calls had changed that a ton and now the feeling of sadness and embarrassment of being oh so close, but not close enough is just painful and building upon the pain at this point. I feel like if we win, I can finally sit back, take a big exhale and start enjoying the games a bit more.

 

This is exactly how I think I’ll feel. The playoffs are absolutely not fun for me at all. I would like to enjoy these games and maybe once they win I’ll acknowledge that you can’t win them all and losses will roll off me. I’m a Duke basketball fan and that’s how I feel when they lose, even though I’m not nearly the Duke fan that I am the Dodgers

 

When I was listening to MLB Radio a couple hours ago, they all feel pretty certain this is going 7. Hope they are wrong, but one guy had it right in saying that the Dodgers need Mookie tonight. If he gets on base in his first AB, he thinks the Dodgers will win. A couple of guys think this is the best lineup that the Rays have thrown out yet, but said it could be dangerous if the Dodgers choose to go heavy on the lefties after Gonsolin who they all predict will get one time through the order.

 

I think their chance was Game 5. We’re gonna win.

 

I mean, you probably won't.
It's a half empty stadium with no energy and they're playing under strange conditions overall.
That said, we've had our epic moments along the way (Lima, Uribe, Joc, JT, Loney, Manny, etc).
Knowing each year we don't win will no longer extend a 3-decade drought should make us all happy.

 

I swear this is how I’m feeling idk hopefully it hits me in the moment

 

also this with not nearly the same crowd/environment it’ll never be the same. But I guess that will keep me motivated for next year when we can get crowds too hopefully.

 

I don't want to see Buehler pitch again until April.
