    The Dodgers aren't losing this series.
    I have a history of unparalleled pessimism.
    But there's just no way to even pretend like the Rays have a chance.
    Wish it could have happened at Dodger Stadium with a full crowd and normal circumstances, but putting that banner up next to 1988 will last us for a long time.

    It almost feels like the start of the next Jeter/Bernie/Posada trio with Corey/Bellinger/Smith for their entire careers winning WS trophies.
    The yankees always had a couple big lumberjack Giambi types like Muncy/Joc in the lineup
    And a hot shot 5 tool superstar for half of his career like Soriano for them and Mookie for us.
    They had corner specialists pro hitter veterans like our Turner and their Ventura/Knoblock/Brocious.
    We don't have a Paul Oneill type though.
    For the most part even the pitching match up.
    Except that this team should have won the past 2 years and Will Smith should have been up here hitting home runs the whole time.
