I'm not much of a team gear wearer. My only Dodger garb is the traditional blue cap. (Side note --- I pulled it out of the closet and dusted it off last night for the first time in a couple years, wore it throughout the game, and since we won, it will now have to make a regular appearance in future big games.) I did order the grey championship tee last night from Fanatics. That's about as far as I'll go. Wearing another man's name on the back of my shirt is not for me. No offense intended to anyone - to each their own.

This is a good point and kind of justifies his not leaving the field during the celebration. He has been in the dugout with these guys for weeks, certainly over the prior 48 hours. This is a mostly enclosed space with people yelling loudly and in close proximity of one another. High fives, hugs, touching the same rail, same ball, other objects. If he was contagious, that's probably where others were at most risk... not out in the open air.

I’m a big time jersey guy. Probably wear jerseys every week. I have Bellinger, Ryu, Jackie, Koufax and now Betts. Also a blank one.

A substantial fine for sure. Dodger organization will probably get dinged, too.

There's a picture of him holding the trophy and kissing his wife.

Just watched Around the Horn and all 4 writers ripped JT’s ass. Yes, he should have kept his mask on and he could have waited to kiss his wife off-camera, but he been around the entire team (and their families, right?) for the last 3-4 weeks. These fucking writers are saying baseball failed, fuck them. Lock it down instead of playing and you don’t have a fucking job losers.

I’m done. Sorry. WE ARE THE 2020 WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Long time no see... Congrats fellas. Was unfortunately away from my family in LA but was obviously watching nervously. Immediately thought about all you guys on here. Finally fucking did it. Hope y'all are well and are still celebrating somewhere.

Interesting that in Turner's last AB he just missed hitting a two run HR which would have put the Dodgers 4-1.

    Wouldn't that have been ironic?

Not a good look for the MLB if they touch a hair on JT over this face saving nothingburger.

    huh?
    I have missed this story.
Are people mad at him for celebrating with the team?
Shit, he should have been out there the whole time.
Its not like he was not with them all the hours previous to him finding out.
Keeping him out of the celebration is just theater.
But the show must go on...

Why is everyone upset at Turner? Because he proves that this level 2 man flu doesn’t even affect a top athlete at the highest level?

I feel bad for the guy. I hope he pulls through, with the near 100% survival rate. People like Justin Turner SHOULD be getting it.

That is what improves the herd immunity.
You want strong hosts infected so when they breathe on others they also spread the antidote from within their own blood.
When you only let the predator feast on the weakest of the herd the rest of the pack never learns how to kill the predator.
Which is why herd immunity doesn't work if you put the sick with the sicker and separate the fit from the unfit.
The enemy loves when you do that. Divide and conquer is the only strategy that the enemy has.
If you are only as strong as your weakest link then double up on your links so that if one fails you have a strong one next to it as a failsafe.
Keeping the weak next to the strong protects everyone.
If you keep the strong separate from the weak it is easier to take out all of the strong first with a tactically placed agent that goes after the fittest and strongest and cleanest bodies that do exactly as the medical establishment mandates and follow science as it changes to the letter because these people are easy to gameplan due to their religious predictable lifestyle.
These type of people are sieves walking around leaking data from every point imaginable.
All that data allows for China to know exactly what to do in order to subtly influence or sicken that entire demographic.
Lemmings are very smart and very fit animals.
    Just like lab rats.
Smart and fit.... but predictably easy to bait and lead astray with aged cheese.
