I said after last game Barnes earned the right to catch the rest of the series with Smith DHing. Doc didn't get the memo. It was so easy. Pitching staff is all more comfortable with him catching and it is so obvious.

 

Arozarena falling down on the final play of the game put the comedy over the top.

If you detach yourself from the heartbreaking reality of what happened, it really is a funny play. Taylor boots the ball, Muncy makes a bad 30 ft throw, Smith drops it, Kenley stands in no-man’s land like he’s just a spectator with good tickets, Arozarena falls down for seemingly no reason then gets up and makes a piss poor dive to score, Brett Philips is running the bases like he’s the fucking game winning run (I have no idea why he was busting ass to 3B), and after the win Philips runs around the outfield and all the Rays chase him like an early version of Madden Football. And still the biggest joke is that Roberts didn’t lose faith in Kenley 2 years ago like everyone else.

Have more confidence in Walker coming out on no days rest to close out the game. Kenley is done. He'll never get another MLB contract. He's garbage. If we don't win tomorrow it's over. And you know knowing this team Kershaw will fucking deal and not give up more than a run but this team will get shutout.

We're winning game 5 and getting that ring!! If we're going to be champs we still have to fuck up very badly in atleast one game. Baseball gods are happy now. We're winning game 5 and 6 and we'll still get rid of Kenley and Dave in the offseason because that's what dodger fans deserve.
