    Aside from from whatever in the fuck happened today, my whole take on the Puig thing is this...
    The guy is still an otherworldly talent and is only at the young age of 25. He has all the abilities to correct this and turn this ship around to still be a productive member of the organization. I really hope for his sake that this is not the last we see of Puig as a Dodger. This organization is all about taking in other teams falling potential stars and setting them back on the right path. Puig is now their own reclamation project to do with as they please. His value is zilch right now, it's all "what if?". This isn't a guy without options which makes this that much easier. Send him away from the big club, see how he adjusts after going to AAA. If he still insists on an obnoxiously long swing path, if he still can't find a way to turnaround a 98 MPH fastball right down the middle, then in a year, cut bait and be done with it. Now is simply not that time, especially when he has options. This isn't aging Carl Crawford with no place to go, this is still a 25 year old player with the skills to be a perennial All Star OF'er, but is burdened by his own ten cent head. There are a lot, A LOT, of people that hate him on this board, throughout the fan base and beyond that just want him gone. Deep down, those fans need to see that it would not be the right thing to do. This is a time where Puig needs to reach deep inside and see what he has within himself to either return to the rising superstar status that he once had, or likely see his career whimper down to that of a bench player or starter for 3rd tier team. I really hope that he goes to OKC and can fix this thing so we can get back that great RF'er we once had and he can come back a better man and teammate for it.

    All is good in OKC. They may have lost Durant, but they gained Puig.

    This is all well and true, but, if Puig feels like he's being dicked around by this organization, is it really an environment setting him up for a bounce back? Again, it has a lot to do with him and he was given a long leash before but, I'm just looking at it from his point of view where right now he could feel like the team has set aside a much stricter standard on him then other people. What if it isn't an encouraging environment for him?

    And again, its a lot a lot a lot of speculation and I'm guessing theres so much we don't know. just saying from where I'm standing, I can see him holding a grudge and the only solution is him elsewhere. Which really sucks, IMO. He's been bad and theres no denying that but I admit I want him to succeed cause he's an easy as hell guy to want to watch every day on a team that can be boring even when going well

    If he feels that he has been dicked around, then he needs to use it as a chip on his shoulder to come back prove everyone wrong. If he uses it to pout and whine, other teams will see that and not want anything to do with him. His place may be with someone else, I just hope that all parties can come together right now and get us back the Puig that we used to have. If he truly does hold a grudge, he has two years after this before he is a FA. Rebuild his status, become a FA at the age of 28 and sign with a different team so you can stick it to the organization whenever possible.

    The Dodgers "not commenting" just added to it too. This FO has issues. They should've made a statement in defense of their player when Rosenthal wrote what he did.

    "The report made today by Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal is inaccurate. Yasiel was notified last night that he would be optioned to Triple-A and won't be traveling to Colorado. He followed our instructions blah blah blah. We're committed to his development and look forward to his return to the big leagues...blah blah."

    Easy.

    @Ken_Rosenthal: @YasielPuig I'm still sorry, Yasiel. Shouldn't have happened.

    You know, You guys are reaching but in the wrong place....It could be that Kapler convinced Friedman that Yasiel Puig would benefit greatly from tanning his testicles for a month or so?

    Puig's tweet:

    @ken_rosenthal don't worry bro, we all make mistakes #puigyourfriend #seeyousoon

    I'd probably be much more angry if I was Puig, tbh. A difficult situation and Ken's story made it worse. I do wonder who leaked that shit to Ken though, he wouldn't have made something like that up. he must have trusted whoever said it.. .
