This Cubs pitcher sucks.

 

Used to like Smoltz. But he's said some ridiculous things lately. Thinks the Giants are better off winning the West because "they know what they're getting with the back of their rotation while the Dodgers don't" Wrong on so many levels.

 

"Giants not playing like we're accustomed to" ...they suck every other year! My goodness. Theyve done unbelievable things in the post season. But they are NOT perennial division winners like you make them out to be!

 

And why does the national media make it seem like Kershaw is the only injury we've had?

 

Why is he wrong about the back ends of the rotation? Sounds absolutely spot on to me...all year long basically, and right up until the last series, our back end, and sometimes our front end, is a cluster fuck.
Did you see the pitching matchups for the Rox, and now the Padres?

The back end of the Giants rotation and bullpen have been proven garbage and ineffective for the Giants. So "knowing what to expect" is irrelevant hogwash. That's my point. Samarsjaha, Peavy, Cain, etc have been trash. Just because you know what you're getting doesn't make it good. Nonsense from Smoltz.
