    Thinking only of our own brand of garbage, I really didn't give theirs much thought, except that they know who they are...may or may not be an advantage.
    Probably not, in their cases.

    Just got the MLB update saying puig is coming back up. Hopefully he goes out there like his tits are on fire and plays like 2013 puig

    I'm looking forward to both of them returning, without any jaundice or sarcasm.
    I believe whoever helps us, in spite of any previous animousity or flat out hatred, this is the right move...we need offense and pitching, and being in first place right now, kind of amazingly, needs to be bolstered by any source.
    If he fails he fails, but totally giving up on him, is bad business.
    Or showcasing him, for whatever for equal value in return, has to get done, regardless.
    I don't see how a team can depend on a pitcher to "carry them", considering the best one can contribute, is 20% per every 5 games.

    Tuned in on the radio and heard the Cubs were up 2-0 and Lester had a no hitter going.

    Turned it off, not wanting to jinx it.

    Then turned it on just in time to hear the Giants' first hit, the Pence HR.

    Needless to say I stayed away the rest of the game.

    Rosenthal reporting Brewers had won claim on Puig and both teams made a legit effort to complete a deal (involving Braun). Also said Dodgers only wanted to trade Puig if it got them someone better.

    Tough trade to complete, TBT, considering all the money owed to Braun and both teams having so much talent on their farms.
    Always felt like the Brewers should be interested since they're rebuilding and maybe they made a legit effort to get a waiver trade done, but they had a long ass time to get something done there.
    Didn't have to wait until the waiver/post season deadline to get aggressive about it, so I question just how much either team really wanted to get a deal done.
