lol! Sellers! This is up on the LA Times Dodger page. http://www.latimes.com/sports/dodge...magination-20130422,0,4257331.story?track=rss
Can we just drop this cunt already. This doesn't bother me at all but I want any excuse to drop this fuck.
Tell the Pads to give us Headley in exchange for their dumb ass OF injuring our 100+ million investment.
I was reading an article on fangraphs today, saw something kind of interesting. Luis Cruz has the second biggest drop in fastballs seen since last year. He is seeing 12% less fastballs so far this year. I think it is definitely safe to say the book is out on Cruz lol
if the phils do become sellers who, if anyone, would you be interested in? If the struggling Phillies don't move up in the standings, they could be very active on the trade market in July, MLB.com's Anthony Castrovince writes. Chase Utley, Michael Young and Delmon Young are all free agents after the season, Castrovince notes, and there's also the possibility the Phillies could begin trade talks involving Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Jimmy Rollins or Jonathan Papelbon. Lee, in particular, could be on the move if the Phillies falter, Andy Martino of the New York Daily News writes. Martino quotes an executive from another team who says, "If they're not in it, you think [Ruben Amaro Jr.] won't move Lee again?" Martino notes that Lee's contract (the Phillies owe him a minimum of $62.5MM after 2013) could make a trade tricky, however.
Our biggest need is a SP and 3B so if we could get both without trading the entire minor league system that would be kewl.
He has really only had 1 bad outing, but overall, a K:BB of 3.13:1, only 1 HR allowed. But everything i've read says he isn't ready, his 3rd pitch just isn't their yet.
Phillies are paying over $18m for ex Ranger Michael Young at 3B and he's a career .302 hitter and 6 time all star... ...who's also a bit long in the tooth but he's hitting over .330 again this year so far Utley at 2B used to be good but his BA has dropped for 6 straight years... and we don't need a 2B if Mark heals up well.
Cliff won his first 2 games and then has lost the last 4 in a row but only took two "L's" ... ERA at 3.46... WHIP at 1.15 so far in 2013. Pulling $25M, I just can't see the Phillie's parting with him but I guess he was only 6-9 last year even with that offense behind him.
