another offseason begins
Fraudman better sign everyone, I mean it. Dodgers should be like 100 mil under the luxury tax after they decline Fat fuck Lynn's option and all of the other dead weight.
We'll probably miss out on Ohtani because Friedman tries to go short term at a high AAV, like 4 years 250M. He'll end up saying "we presented what we thought was a very competitive offer" and that we wanted to maintain "payroll flexibility" and he'll end up signing something like 9 years 600M lol. Basically the same AAV just way more years for Ohtani.
It doesn't matter who they get. They always have the players statistically they need, at least in recent history
They are like the Tin Woodsman...but they are lacking heart.
Their inflexibility of approach when it means the most, proven time and time again, will result in the same end game it always does.
Oz, or AZ, or someone like them, will always beat them.
I don't want Ohtani. Or Freddie or Mookie for that matter.
I want Pedro, Beltre, Konerko, Piazza, Alvarez, and Seager back.
But what about Scarecrow's brain?
Love Bert Lhar's delivery on that line

The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to terms with infielder Max Muncy on a two-year contract through the 2025 season for $24 million. The deal includes a $10 million club option for 2026.

yeah $24mil is a good deal
You didn't mention the bonus he gets for not being the worst fielding third baseman in MLB next season.
Yeah...I meant paper lions.
Need someone to wash Dave's balls
is that Elton?
So Dusty is making excuses now ...
"We had a lot of success here, Ernie and Charles, and then the last couple of months here weren't very pleasant, because we weren't 10 games ahead," Baker said, according to the Houston Chronicle. "You spoil people. They think you're supposed to win this every year running away and it's not like that."
Poor you, John Baker. Are we supposed to open a vein because you didn't get another ring?
Fuck off .... Seriously.
dodgers decline lance lynn’s option
i guess there weren’t enough donuts to go around after re-signing muncy
I'm probably in the minority (no pun), but I really don't want Ohtani. There's no guarantee he'll ever return to the pitcher he was, and the price he'll command is way too much for a DH. Again, just my .02 cents
Enough with buying high. Try actually developing some talent.... You know ... Like LA did from the fifties onwards ...
