Despite the fumbles and the long TD runs the Rams had the ball inside the 20 with a chance to win it in the final series. Thought the Eagles would win easily.
Yup, they were right there in great shape to steal it, but the hold and sack were too much to overcome.
Yes, they did. Had I bet it, I'd have been cursing earlier... like ND not cashing in a fumble for a TD, then compounding the felony by missing the FG. Fact is... the better team won. Props to OSU. Oh ... and fuck LeBron. Didn't go to college. Stupid as a box of rocks. ChiComm lover. Never earned a buckeye sticker in his life. And his kid is an overpaid waste of floorspace. But hey... I'm just another cis honky oldster. Eff me.
Don't care who wins this AFC championship game .. but I'm at a LVille watch party and everyone here is a Bills fan. ME? I'm wearing a Butker jersey my dad in law gave me for Christmas. I'm also the only Republican here. I made a handful of MAGA comments & then commented on Mahome's wife being a Trumper & caught some flak. Told them all to fuck right off. Driving home with a bottle of bonded bourbon & a clear conscience. Nothing worse than a blind leftist.
Very strange as I reflect on things last night. I throw this back to my exchanges with @BigDaddyKaine on the Politics thread ... It's odd how much hate there is against the Super Bowl, the Chiefs, and the refs in particular. It's all trending on X today and I cannot recall a time when the NFL has gotten such hate as SocMed is spewing right now. All I wanted to do was watch a football game last night, and hangout with a friend I made in Louisville when we first moved here. As I said ... it was immediately politics of Red vs Blue when I got there. I wore the Chiefs jersey as a lark. I'm no KC fan. If the Bills had won, I'd be happy for them and their fans. But I learned that no one there was an actual Buffalo fan. No one cheering for them knew who Joe Ferguson or Jim Kelly were. They only knew OJ was a Bill. That was it. They also hated KC for being back-to-back SB champs. And that several of their players did the Trump dance a few weeks ago in a TD celebration. Food was decent, and the host is a great guy who happens to be a Democrat. His douchey friends & their post-inauguration misery are another matter.
Absolutely. I survived a Philly roommate in Hunt Beach 30 years ago. Guy was an Eagles nut who was in the stands the day they pelted Santa with snowballs. Whack jobs, the lot.
If you look hard enough, you can probably find articles about them throwing batteries at visiting players and the time they cheered when Michael Irvin was down with a seemingly serious injury*. *edited: Actually a neck injury that ended his career.
it was a little bit overblown wasnt it? the santa guy was having fun with it and it was apparently all pretty wholesome he was a longtime season ticket holder who always dressed as santa when he was done he went back to his seat and everyone cheered him not that i was there or anything but i read about it in the local paper its the national socialist media that sensationalized it merry christmas
I'm with the majority on this one: https://x.com/KarluskaP/status/1888620780231020629?t=3UE9pXs07LdqPudhGizpHA&s=19
