Just saw doctor and he has no idea what it could be.

Nurse forgot to take the catheter off.
I was already walking home when I noticed it and now I gotta wait to be seen again so they can take it out of my arm.
You should see the hilarity in their faces.

 

Not being able to delete my posts really sucks.
I'm used to posting things then getting cold feet and deleting them.

 

Plus the editor doesn't work on my phone.

sounds like some really strange ailment
hope they can treat you quickly and accurately friend
just reading on skin discolorations w cancer its typically a symptom after treatment
pus sounds bacterial of course I don't know shit
if its not spreading maybe a good sign its an anomaly of some sort

 

the young asian doctor didnt have a clue so he told me to get some antibiotics tomorrow and go to my regular doctor and ask for a dermatologist
i dont have a doctor
he asked me what i did about the cancer
i said not much, but last week i prayed
and then this thing in my back happened
and honestly apart from that burning in my back i feel better than i have in over 3 years
last time i went to the hospital was when a dog bit my hand and there was a long nerve dangling down my index finger
another young doctor this one white had no clue what the shiny silvery thread was or what to do since it was like 3 in the morning and there was no surgeons
it was pretty painful so i asked him dearly to just cut the nerve off
i had to coach him how to do it because he really didnt want to and had never seen a human never before in real life
once he cut it off i could move my arm again but i had lost a lot of motion
eventually leading to having a secondary scoliosis in my upper back
it was funny how nervous the ER doctors can be

i never went to the doctor after the ER visit
i hate having a regular doctor
they ask so many questions all the time
and then the surgeons always want to cut
the answer is always to cut you or to give you drugs
and if you dont do what they say they write stupid shit on your chart and treat you different
then when you still get better without the pills or without the surgery they look at you even more different
specially if you tell them you fasted from a lot of things and used specific foods and specific exercises and specific thoughts to feed your bodies ability to defend itself they will think you are like a flat earther or in some cult

but yeah last weekend i decided to stretch it out more than i had and try to break the scar tissue that was keeping my neck stuck to my body
i stretched it violently like pushing my neck past where it wanted to go in the direction it hurt the most
and i prayed for help
i hadnt done that in a long time
i normally dont like to talk about this kind of stuff
i think talking about your personal life or your spiritual life is weird and like talking about what goes on in the bedroom
that kinda stuff should be kept private for the most part imo
but i really did ask for help and then the next day my back started to burn
im thinking i maybe busted some gland that is part of the endocrine system
i havent really thought much about it but im guessing that is what it might be
because i really concentrated on my breathing and my thought to where the problem was while i did the exercises
then i started to turn into red hulk
but my neck feels more supported
and i feel really positive about the situation
im hoping its gonna be a sign of healing
thats why i dont mind talking about it too much right now
maybe im just getting soft

it coulda just been a spider, a centipede, or an irradiated fly blasting me with nuclear energy
i been bit by so many bugs living up in the mountain and i never had a reaction like this
but maybe these pomona spiders are stronger than anything that coulda bit me up there
ill let you know if i develop spider powers
but right now im looking more like jeff goldblum halfway towards becoming the fly

oh or it was the dews!

one of the things that stopped me from camping besides murderers was flesh eating bacteria of which there is no cure they just start cutting things off
sister in laws brother caught it on a golf course apparently and they just kept removing body parts it was insane
so good they didn't diagnose you w something like that
human body is still a mystery in many ways and you're right western drs just want to cut of dose you and move on
have you considered and acupuncturist or something holistic and decidedly not western medicine?
I mean if it is cancer then following their lead is best imo as I just watched a different sister in law pass quickly trying to cure herself w herbs
but if they can't figure it out its worth a try and an old Asian guy w needles has worked wonders for me in the past
some work out of their houses in DT and are pretty reasonable on rates
thats the best I can do cause I don't know shit other than to have faith in the fact that we end up where we're supposed to be
I just wouldn't try to figure it out by yourself like it sounds like you are trying to do
antibiotics sound like all you can do atm if thats what you're being given...does it seem like they're working?
honestly I'd keep getting opinions from other doctors as much as possible
know you don't have unlimited funds but in this model of health care sometimes it seems those w nothing get a lot more than those who pay
I say that drawing on my experience w my 500lb nephew thats eaten himself into his misery but gets catered to "living" at home
professionals show up to him and it seems like the machine will do everything they can to keep him running for some reason
I'm not comparing you or anyone to him just saying there are levels of care perhaps you haven't sought out and don't require being paid back necessarily
other than that I can only keep positive thoughts for you hear and maybe think soaking in a warm bath of epsom salts?
they've given me a bunch of pain stuff for my break but I don't think that would help
sure it sounds trite but having just come out of a cast and seeing the X-ray of my bone healing Im amazed at the human bodies ability to heal
I know its nbd but starting to walk again under my own power is something I won't be taking for granted anytime soon
trust in your ability to heal and of course lmk if there's something I can do...that is unless you're contagious of course

I don't think anyone knows for sure where the flesh eating disease comes from do they?
other than the sister in laws brother I've know people stricken by lymes disease and thats typically ticks in the wild from what I understand
maybe its like lightning striking but these days I prefer a jacuzzi and a view to a bed on the ground

spent a good part of my childhood in sequoia, Yosemite, bass lake and did a lot of beach camping and Big Sur in my 20s on inflatable mattresses w my dogs and various friends.
by the time I got married the wife wasn't into it since she felt she'd done enough camping being born in Sri Lanka
at this point in my journey I could probably be talked into doing Big Sur again cause its just so gorgeous and serene, at least it was last I saw it
@rube tried to get the Filipina and I to camp on his mountain but between him and the horny uncle I elected the drive home!
never worried about weird diseases and being murdered in a tent back then
worst we were concerned about were bears tossing trash cans and stealing the food
had a lot of laughs messing around and telling stories on those adventures
once I went w the my eldest daughter and her school friend w like 10 other people at cachuma and they were pretty scared going to sleep
we could hear them talking in the tent and my buddy and I decided to take a flash light and back light him into their tent w his arms extended
his image looked huge and they immediately let out delicious screams of sheer terror that shocked the entire lake I think
needless to say the women didn't find that very funny and the kid never wanted to camp after that
