    I always get fooled on curve balls down.

    It doesn't help that the game likes giving the opposition strikes on balls outside, while my pitcher can throw in the same location, and it gets called a ball.

    I do the same thing. I'd be in like the 6th inning and I look up at the pitch count and it is in the 30's. Drives me nuts.

    I don't like how we used Baez last night. That's a spot for Perez or Garcia, not to put them in the same category, but right now they probably can be based on what games they come into.

    astonishing to see Puig in the 7th hole these last couple games. damnit if he can just turn the corner and get back to hitting in front of a hot AGon-Kemp-Hanley-CC


    and Uribe..my goodness he's been good with the bat this year. i wonder how much he has left. old fella might have a few years left in him.

    i don't think Mattingly was happy seein Kershaw diving around for the ball in that one silly ass 3 error sequence ( neither was i..glad he got out of the way of the runner at home)..that right there is how silly injuries happen. he knocked the wind out of himself, but could've easily tweaked his elbow there. don't think anybody on the staff wanted to play with fire. sometimes you get those signs during a game and you gotta move on them. and Kersh is definitely the guy to go 100MPH in the 9th inning with a big lead because he just knows no other way to play. save him from himself. we had it locked up.

    I hope we crush Cashner tonight! The bats need to show up to have a chance. Hernandez needs to have a solid outing. :thumbsup:

    Dodgers are 2-3 in Hernandez' five starts, and his ERA has actually increased from his 2014 Phillie numbers. He's yet to give us more than 6 innings in a start. His last start against Wash was his worst, surrendering 4 HRs. Ironically, his two worst starts of the five have been at Dodger stadium. The only thing he has going for himself tonight is the Padres offense.

    Really hoping we can get to Cashner and build a lead and then put it in the BP's hands. As bad as our pen has been, I'd rather take our chances with them than with Hernandez.

    gotta jump on Cashner early in the count. power guys like him just think they can blow you away and get ahead in the count. we need to load up early.

    i'm calling a Hanley-bomb tonight..nobody on our team loads up like Hanley
