    Frias is not a "tried and true veteran", which is the Dodger way to do things in these situations....always has been, and always will be. Go with the vet, even if he totally sucks and sends them right down Broadway...that pitch to Gyorko was LL in location.
    Wow...good thing we gained some last night.

    This front office has me scratching my head, especially this year. With the Dodgers on a roll and overtaking the Giants, and with all the momentum on our side, the one last thing that would put us over the top was another ace pitcher. Knowing that the back end of the rotation was old, injury prone, and shakey, getting a pitcher had to be a priority. None of our hitters are getting younger and windows close very rapidly.

    And it's not like pitchers were not available....from Shark, to Lester, Lackey and Price, any one of those guys would have been better than the garbage we got. I wouldve taken Peavey as well.

    But if you are not going to pull the trigger because of the cost of giving up prospects, then at least let your prospects have a chance in the bigs. Let them pitch and get experience. Lets see what they got. They're not even doing that.

    And now guys like Joc.....I dunno. Im not impressed at this moment.

    I just dont get what the FO is trying to accomplish.

    wtf is goin on!?

    but you know what..sad to say that i had this one marked down as a loss before the series started because of Cashner and Fausto. really would've been nice to see a better effort at the plate since they'll be seeing their share of power arms if they make the playoffs
