weird i never heard of them but i never even heard their biggest song
definitely huge Sly and TOP fan

 

saw TOP back 20+ years ago w AWB and WAR at the Greek what a party that was!
think i was one of around 100 white people in attendance

No. But I've seen the movie and listened to the soundtrack more times than I can count.

 

turned this up tonight otw to picking out the Christmas tree
10 when the album came out and still remember how incredible it sounding way back then
of course the title track was what was played on the radio but sister had the 8 track

remember being spent in every way and too fucking high to pass out listening to late night Latino music shows
stuff still sounds incredible

 

i guess they're finally releasing them little by little
used to sit up waiting for that show and Kirschners rock concert
saw this one recently and was perplexed at how different this and the scorching original are
turns out neither Perry or Whitford were the original guitarists on the album version and those were session guys
you can sure hear it
