ALL these guys have ability but it's a built in advantage to be from here playing in your comfort zone. Not saying it's not an adjustment for for everyone to be playing in higher levels but I just don't think there is enough attention paid to the Cuban player coming from a 3rd world country and how hard it is to adjust to what we take for granted here in the states. The guy was smuggled into this country which is traumatic enough but then to be instantly rich and then thrust into the limelight and to have to learn on the job? I'm mean the media and fans have criticized this guy relentlessly about his maturity, playing style, fundamentals you name it but he's still out there giving maximum effort, playing phenomenal defense and maturing before our eyes and it's game on for the critics on here because he's in a funk at the plate. AGon is hitting ..093 at Dodger stadium, has anyone noticed? Now in fairness this is a Puig thread but since when has this stopped people from highjacking a thread. I just think in my mind he hasn't reached his full potential and am giving him for the reasons above am giving him more than 3 years and his funk at the plate right now a little more leeway. Sorry this was long but I was inspired a little and in no way as directed at you BZ.
