    Power premium?
    Thats lf.
    Rf is about arm first.
    And dumber?
When he was hitting he was dogged for not being a hard worker and a bunch of other non performance related stuff.
He has fixed most of that rather remarkably and accepted all the changes to his hitting the coaches have asked from him.
All with the promise that one day those changes would turn him into an accomplished hitter.
Breaking him down to recreate him for a career not a one time gimmick.

So listening to Vinnie early it seems Puig hit the first ball hard but right at SS

Did he hit it hard again?

    Didn't seem like it

The dude looks like he's swatting for flies up there. Whether he makes contact and "gets robbed" or babip'ed doesn't matter. He looks like he's never played baseball before up there. Remarkable, really.

The funny thing is, for me...Im not even that harsh on him as far as results are concerned. You can just tell he's clueless, unclutch, over matched, and swings to a spot instead of at the ball.

A lot of guys struggle. But Puig in particular is the worst because his swings are so horrible.

I think people confuse "being bad" with "under-perfoming expectations" and their is a huge difference

Puig has been disappointing because we know he can be so much better, but he's still a productive MLB player, FWIW, at minimum.

We need him to hit at least slightly above league average, which I think he will get too, at least, to be a good team though.

This, and the fact that a circus act isn't fun if the clown isn't funny. People are hard on him not just because of him not living up to expectations, it's the fact that when you're hitting .250 and can't drive any runs in, you need to lose the superstar attitude.

I don't give a fuck either. He can be the biggest cunt since Bonds for all I care. But As soon as you don't hit for over a year, that shit won't fly

Yeah, any act you do, is almost immediately old and annoying when you wallow in deep, lasting suckitude. He is a great defensive player, I would say...and average offensively with production numbers overall, and flat out sucks in the clutch. He does not get it done unfortunately. The superstar status is unwarranted now.
Even Kike's "crazy kid" act is getting a bit stale lately. Like Brian Wilson and his travelling freak show. Like so many others...after a while...yawn...

Especially the way he started off...like he hit a brick wall or some shit. Too damn bad for us, mang...
He seems like a good guy and all with the kids on the beach and eating huge slabs of meat and all, but there's so much more to it.

He was a better hitter early on when he was an ahole off the field.

Dude looked so fit and was hitting early on
I really thought this was going to be a big year for him
Crazy how his power is just completely gone
    Remember those opposite field bombs?
