2009 we had 4 top 100 picks 2004 would be the last comparable year in terms of top 100 picks We had 5 top 100 picks-- 17, 28, 33, 58, 88 Drafted David price in the 19th round. (obvi didnt signn) overall we came out with nobody of significance (Javy Guerra being the most lol)
Dansby Swanson taken #1 overall by DBacks. Looks like a good player so I'm going to need @THINKBLUE to give him a good mean nickname to go with that idiotic name
Quite a ways out but it we get Allard ima be so happy I got a final in one hour so I'll straight interrupt the class to hit the whip and nae nae then sit back down
I expected Trenton Clark to go a lot higher. Some time might get a good pick if they are able to sign him to an above slot deal
Daz Cameron is falling. My God, if he fell to us with our draft pool:rubhands:. Wonder if money is the only reason he's falling?
Yeah, solid pick. I like his stuff. Gonna watch a College WS game if he starts. Can kind of understand why they didn't go Cameron. Would of been a huge gamble if he didn't sign.
Daz Cameron would have been nice, but what good is he if he doesn't sign? The 25th pick is not nearly as valuable as the pick Houston got for Aiken not signing. Buehler will be a solid mid-rotation guy, and sooner than later.
I like Buehler. He has good stuff, he just needs to stay healthy. If he stays healthy, he could be a #2-3. 3 potential plus pitches. And Matuella still on the board...
@JeffPassan: Make that two huge arms for the Dodgers with Walker Buehler and Kyle Funkhouser. Urias and DeLeon and Holmes and Alvarez. Absolutely loaded.
