G'day DSP. I haven't been around for a while but I hope everyone is doing well. I bought postseason tickets today. At the moment I have some extras for NLDS "Home Game 2" and NLCS "Home Game 1". NLDS "Home Game 2" - 2 Seats - Sec 36RS Row J NLCS "Home Game 1" - 2 Seats - Sec 25RS Row FF I'm not sure what I will be pricing them at yet but if you're interested shoot me a PM and I will offer them first come first serve. I will likely undercut similar seats from stubhub. Today is just to see who's interested. I won't be pricing and selling them until we're closer to the end of the season and the schedule becomes more clear. I was just going to do craigslist but I figured I'd offer them to you guys first. Let me know and as always, GO BLUE!
I have partial season tickets (30ish games) in Loge 126 Row A Seats 1-2. Next year will be year 10 of these seats. They have ruined me for any other location haha. I still have the tickets for game 3 of the 2013 world series that never happened The main ticket holder didn't offer me postseason tickets this year so I'm pretty butt hurt
This was my first season as a Mini Plan holder. I thoroughly enjoyed going to so many games. Between the 20 from the plan and the 2 extra games I picked up at Dodger Stadium and the 2 I picked up at Angel Stadium I'm a very respectful 16-5 on the season including 2-0 vs the Giants and 2-0 vs the Angels in Anaheim with 3 games to go. Last season was my previous high on games attended at 5. I crushed that record this season and I'm topping it off with 3 playoff games and a World Series game. The interesting thing about my win/loss record is I'm 4-0 in Kershaw/Greinke games and the rest were all Anderson, Bolsinger, McCarthy, Latos, etc...12-5 with the scrubs isn't too bad. At least 2 of those loses should have been wins too. The downside to all those games (minus the two in Anaheim) is that I work in Irvine and live in Tustin. It takes blue blood to make that drive during the week as often as I have.
I pretty much decided that if we make the World Series I'm going no matter what it takes. 27 more years would put me right at retirement age and I don't know if I'll live that long. Too risky.
Didn't I see you at a playoff game a couple years back? What time would a World Series game start? The traffic is going to be insane. I remember in the 2013 NLDS it took me 30 minutes to get from Cypress to the Grand Ave. Exit off the 101 and 1hr 15 minutes to get from Sunset blvd into the stadium. Crazy.
I got tickets for Games 1 and 2. Now here's to hoping we get home field advantage so I can actually go...
I shoulda elaborated, chance I can't go if I can't get the Monday off work. Much easier for me to get a Friday off then Monday and Tuesday
Yeah I met up with you, Chris, and BLF when we waxed the Braves like 13-8 or whatever. It would probably start at 5 or 5:30 PT.
World series tickets on Stub Hub are 900 dollars for the left field Pavilion right now. If I'm fortunate enough to get the opportunity to buy World Series tickets from the main account holder of my season seats they are relatively cheap. Paid less than 600 per seat in 2013 for my World Series tickets (Loge front row). Comparable seats were selling for 2,500 a piece on Stub Hub. The only possible way I can afford to go to a World series game is through my season ticket guy it looks like. And I may not get the opportunity Why is everything so expensive Don't answer that!
900 bones? Fuuuuuuuck. I can't waste anything if I even want to try to get tickets. I may have to sell plasma.
