Yeah, the bloops aren't bad luck. The guys are seeing him extremely well and the bloops were just a predecessor to squaring the ball up the next time around.
Going 3-4 in this Mets/Cubs road trip with some injuries to Wood/Maeda is okay I guess. Not horrible cause I really thought it would be worse, but also kinda disappointing since they won the games against Thor and Arrieta but lost some other games you'd hope the offense could win.
Nah, there's a difference between jamming guys and them fisting bloops and tapping the outside pitches through holes in the infield for hits, and leaving the ball out over the plate and it getting blasted into the scoreboard
Took it on the chin today. A lot of paper cuts early before the big sticks took over. There is a reason that they are the best team in baseball. Urias has some refinement to work on and I think a lot of this has to be from being a bit hyped up. When he locates, the stuff is great, just needs to do it more. I hope they give him one home start before he is sent back down.
Yup, consistency. Eventually left the ball out over the plate and they jumped him. Worked it in and out early, got squeezed a time or two, a lot going on
