Big Padre shakeup coming...Bochy on his way? Dave Rpberts should go, can build a new dynasty there. We get Bochy. Imagine there's no Roberts... It's easy if you try No team above us Living the division winner lie...
SD's best chance of taking one is tonight with Kazmir on the mound for the Gnats. Unfortunately, Padres starter is not much better.
Completely agree. I just fear Roberts hard-on for righty/lefty matchups and his love of unproductive scrubs like Raley and Neuse. Someone needs to explain to him that not every unwanted player is destined to become a Muncy or Taylor.
It was nice to see us plate the free runner last night in the 10th, then strand theirs for the win. Seems like such a rarity. I looked up some stats for 10th innings for LAD this year. I think we're all aware that the team started out horrendously, but have now taken 4 out of the last 5 extra-inning games. It's a good time to have turned that around. You would think that it should be relatively easy to score at least one run in the tenth, given that a runner is placed on second. I'm sure we're below the league average here, but we failed to do so in 9 of 17 tenth innings this year. That said, we have knocked that runner in five of the last six opportunities. The players you want at the plate in the tenth are Smith (2-3, HR, 3 RBIs) and Muncy (2-5, 1 RBI). Surprisingly, the ones coming up empty the most are Taylor (1-9), Pollock (0-5) and Betts (0-4). Also, Roberts needs to improve on having a bat on the bench for the pitcher's spot. He's sent up Kershaw twice, and both times resulted in K's. By the way, the group made up of McKinstry, McKinney, Raley, Neuse, Peters, and Tsotsogo were a combined 0-10. Here's hoping that we'll have to count on none of them in extra innings from here on out.
so no taylor again tonight if he’s not hurt, then roberts is a fucken tool for continuing to force raley into the lineup
What's one day, start the man! ----------------------------------------------- Dodgers' AJ Pollock: Activated, not starting Wednesday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Pollock (hamstring) was activated off the 10-day injured list and will be available off the bench Wednesday against the Rockies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports. Pollock was originally expected to rejoin the active roster Thursday, but he'll be activated a day early and initially work in a reserve role. The 33-year-old is expected be in the starting lineup in left field for Thursday's series finale at Colorado.
Buehler just looks different...not so much because of the double, but his demeanor...or body language or something. Definitely not as cocky or confident either.
I guess Beaty is waaay out of favor these days... If he's still on the team. What did he do? Vote Republican ?
It’s a unique skill? I don’t know what you call it. If I predict a sunny day tomorrow, there will be a hurricane.
