good question...but there's got to be some bad team out there, with a desperate GM that will look at him as a reclaimation project. We all know he has hit in the past for extended periods. That seems so long ago, but at his age it's got to be there somewhere.
But reclamation is a good word to use If he was once ever good. He has done beyond terrible this year way under his career numbers. But even his career numbers are fucking bad for 1B. Replacement level shit. I mean, he might get a job with a team but fuck is he bad
Well as you know, i've never been a big fan of him as a whole, but that last 2 months of 2011 he was great. He was also great his first season...2006?
He has had a couple seeing eye singles through some defensive shifts. Not that they weren't good pieces of hitting, but he hasn't hit the ball with any authority to the right side. He's rolling over on hittable pitches. Killing worms on the left side all day. Not a good sign. He looks like the hitter he was in Miami. Good trade regardless. Just saying. He's not convincing up there.
I hate what Kemp did at 3-0, taking that pitch and walking to first. Players rarely get that strike call, it usually ticks umps off. Not that it is fair, but that's just stupid.
