Is Grandal essentially a platoon player? Can't be bothered looking up splits, but I can't remember him doing anything of note hitting right handed. No power from that side, that's for sure.
meh offense gotta score more than 2 runs most nights to get a w and if 2 solo hr's are your only offense well...
Kike can't strikeout in that spot with a runner on 3rd with the infield back. The ump is a joke. Grandal needs to catch that ball or not play 1B ever. He's useless from the right handed side anyways. I guess since SVS is injured he was the only guy who could fill in.
.308/.410/.385 last year as a righty .242/.349/.377 for his career as a righty Definitely better as a lefty, but not totally inept as a righty. Like you said, not a lot of power from that side tho
Grandal said in an interview that he feels he has more power from the right side. Obviously hasn't shown though. Surprised he has such a high on base as a RH hitter. Stand corrected a bit
well I mean he has to make more than like one game a year vs lefties. He looks more comfortable right handed, stance not so locked up
Well, no excuse for him, but plenty of guys K with men on 3b...but the pitch he swung at for the punch out was pitiful. Wtf was he thinking? Sad.
MLB. The empty seat capitol of sports. I hope Utley can stay healthy and drop 13 bombs or so while he's at it. He looks awesome.
