It annoys the living shit out of me when pitchers give up free bases when they have a decent lead. Lucky that Caleb’s stupidity didn’t cost us
Padres have been playing some good ball. Swept Texas last weekend…nice turnaround after falling down 3-1. Didn’t see that coming….good win with Snell on the mound in game 2.
I wish the Padres had dealt Snell, only because he ALWAYS seems to have our number. We need whomever starts for us to keep us in it until the pens take over.
No shit. Prancing around the bases when you pull your team with five in the ninth inning. Quite a coup for Soto. On a team with Manny and Tatis he's become the biggest ahole. In the good old days he would be wearing one in the ribs in his first AB tonight.
He's been in and out of trouble in quite a few of recent appearances. Usually finds his way out of out, though. Hitting the first batter (a LHer) was inexcusable.
As a whole, Dodgers current roster has a .217 batting average against Snell. Surprisingly, Barnes has had the most success... 5 for 9, 3 doubles, 1.489 OPS. Today's the day to give Will a breather, evidently. Taylor has gone yard 3 times in 27 ABs. He should get a start. On the other hand, hopefully Max gets another day to rest his wrist. He's 2 for 24 against Snell. Rosario is 0 for 6, but as one of our few guys who hit lefties, he needs to start. Mookie and FF have had decent success, but JD has not so Will should probably DH. Outman is 0 for 2 and Peralta and JHey have never faced him (because they don't hit LHP), so who knows what the Scarecrow will do with the OF. I'd go with Outman and his momentum.
