    I hate to consider the worst, but what other explanation is there at this point? I know Rube marched to his own drum so nothing would surprise me, but it just seems so far fetched that he wouldn't at least check in with the guys he's known for years. Just like with Carolina Blue, at some point you stop wondering and start accepting.
