    was thinking lol wtg and all that and then actually felt bad for the guy
    watching him walk off the mound he wasn't exactly living the dream was he?
    gotta be tough for him and his family etc. but sure glad he's doing that somewhere else

    i get what you're saying but if you suck ass and bounce around until someone finally takes you out behind the barn (not ned beatty style) isn't it a nightmare of sorts?
    guess you could tell the grandkids a 12 era was a good thing for a while...

    we get a couple of shucker and jivers on hardcore repeat for spectrum cable and phones or is it speshum i can't quite make it out through the ebonics
    one ends w "you saaaaaid" which i have no idea but they all find really funny
    that and the extremely sophisticated and clever BK whopper whopper whopper raps on endless loop

    Well, I'm sure glad we won. No seeing it though.
    Went to it at 9:00ET, and MLB read " this game not broadcast tonite".
    That was that.
    Watched 3 episodes of the new Reservation Dogs season, instead...just a brilliant show. The final season.

    I didn't watch yesterday either - got roped into seeing Oppenheimer which was way too long for my attention span. Anyhow, I'd guess it was a bit of both Gonsolin and the Rockies. This whole string of sub-.500 teams we've been playing (and I'll include Arizona) doesn't get me too excited. I mean it's great that we're taking care of business as we should, but these wins don't make any kind of statement in my mind. The next couple series will tell us more. As far as Tony, his stat line from yesterday looks good, but I'll be more interested in his next start as he's slated (assuming nothing changes) against Alcantara.

    was gonsolin for the most part
    gave up a hr on the games first pitch
    and then nada
    his command was his best of the year…
    hitting the corners with regularity and his sinker was sharp
