    Apparently I was pissing the year away...

    Thanks guys. Loved most of the moves at the Winter Meetings, sold high on Dee and Kemp. But then we gave 4 years and guaranteed money to Brandon McCarthy?!?

    That move made absolutely no sense to me. Count me in the minority that hated that deal.

    It'll be good to see a photo of the Duke, anytime. anywhere.
    Getting Heaney and keeping him for the SP that he will most likely be, was the most logical thing about trading Dee Gordon away. But moving him immediately for Kendrick for however long it plays out (1yr?) was an anti-climax to me.

    I've been a big Heaney guy before the 2012 draft. I used to do these draft boards on the old ESPN board and the 2012 version went:

    Heaney, Dahl, Seager and Stryker Trahan for the first round. I think we got the best out of that lot.

    Also it might just be me...but I kept thinking of Freddy Sanchez for Tim Alderson when we traded away Heaney.
