no... I was just making a reference to dave, the crazy poster we had some years ago that would do some long/crazy posts and then come up with the most complex trade scenarios... that's why I said "he's going dave on us"... I guess the reference when over everyone's head...
The more I think about it, the more I think it'd be smart to bring back Mark Ellis. Considering he's getting one million from the buy-out, it'd cost 3.25 million to bring him back, and he's better than any of the reserve infielders we had this past season off the bench. Bring him back in case Guerrero needs a month or two, if/when Hanley misses some time, Guerrero can play a little short with Ellis at 2B, spell anyone against a tough lefty. It's too small an option to let a useful player go, IMO.
