    im all for pitchers winning if they have unbelievable years

    what the hell is so big about verlander? the damn wins
    look at he and Kershaw, pretty similar years, but Kershaw is a just a great pitcher and Verlander is "easily" the best in baseball

    bull shit he won imo
    he had a great year, but not MVP. guys in recent years have been better

    Actually when you compare Verlanders stats to the last pitcher to win the AL MVP which was Roger Clemens there is a precedent.

    not to mention our own Sandy Koufax has won the MVP too. It's happened before, who cares if it happens again. We have our own possible MVP bitching to do tomorrow.

    So Derek Lowe was had for $5M plus a B prospect and now Freddy Garcia was had for just under $5M.

    How come we can't do shit like this? We sign Rivera for $4.5M....smh.
