What's with all the low IQ's and fireworks. Didn't some guy die trying to launch a firework off his head?

Good lord, what an idiot. They really want this guy back?

Cuban is going to want something back, and there might be a lawsuit. Even if only a verbal commit and there is no detailed contract in place, an oral contract is enforceable if the promise induced an action (consideration) that binds the promise. So if Cuban can show the Mavs made or didn't make moves based on Jordan's oral promise, there's been a breach.

NBA rules state teams aren't allowed to agree to any deals until midnight ET tonight, not on paper and not verbally. Cuban can't do shit.

In story with @ramonashelburne we also report Mavs now fear they won't now get audience with Jordan as Clips have essentially surrounded him

Please let this happen. Cuban gets snuffed Haha

I'm told that DeAndre Jordan won't even take a phone call from Mark Cuban or Chandler Parsons.

And Parsons just had microfracture surgery on his knee, so I don't why he supposedly has so much pull. He wasn't even that damn good when he was healthy.

But that's the point. Under promissory estoppe, the fact that on reliance a promise induced a party from not reaching out to other FA, or not re-signing your FA, then that would be enough to make the promise binding regardless of the actual signing period.

Looks, its really clear that in practice, promises to sign or re-sign are made during this period, and teams make roster decisions based on these promises. Im sure witn Cuban's billions, he will find lawyers smart enough to sue Jordan based on promissory estoppel, sue the Clips for tortious interference with contract (i.e. virtually surrounding Jordan's house to prevent the Mavs from contacting him, and the league for allowing selective enforcement of their FA rules.

Not that I care, but I soooooooo want this to happen because it involves Cuban, the Mavs, the Clips and Doc River, some of my least favorite things in the world.

    Plus payback for CP3 incident.

Any lawsuit happening is extremely unlikely. DAJ is firmly within his rights to change his mind and DAJ reached out to the Clippers, not the other way around. Cuban isn't even allowed to sue the NBA anyways, part of a standard contract signed when he purchased them. Dr Buss didn't sue the NBA when the CP3 trade was vetoed, Cuban won't either.

Most that will happen is changing the rules.

Smart move by DeAndre. He'd be exposed as one of the most overrated players in the league if he left CP3 for a team without a solid PG like the Mavs.

So Marcellus Wiley says Kobe's been playing with a severely damaged shoulder since YEAR THREE OF HIS CAREER and that it just finally collapsed last year. Says he has " sources. " What if that's true?

I do remember him having to wear a wrap at one point.
