    I reall feel for you guys because most of you have had to put up with this for awhile now and I haven't, but the silver lining I guess is that they're invested in winning. It hasn't worked out yet, but they've tried way harder than any ownership I've seen under the Dodgers. This thing has to get solved eventually.

    i have no desire to watch this team as currently constructed
    amazing to be how some people blindly support a front office that hasn't done shit since the trade deadline

    What can they do about it short of letting TW out of the contract? They got their TV money. 40% of the market can watch games on TV. The stadium is filling up... Just gotta wait 18 years, no bigs.

    What do you mean not as good? Yes, we lost Greinke... But we also lost Rollins and DBB. That's at worst a wash.

    Pen problems, Need a legit #2 starter, and lineup problems.
    If our lineup consists of:
    2b Utley/Peraza
    SS Seager
    1B Gonzalez
    3B Turner
    RF Puig
    LF Andre
    C Grandal
    CF Joc
    Pitcher
    Who the hell is going to lead off and who the hell besides Adrian is going to be a legit run producer?

    If Joc and Puig and Grandal all live up to their potential and if Peraza proves to be as good as advertised leading off... and if Seager really is the IF version of Bryce Harper and Ryu comes back strong and pitches like a #2 and that the Chapman deal goes off later and pays off big dividends with the Dodgers not having to part with any prospect in their top 7, and if our collection of good but not great starting pitchers all have good years and maybe over achieve.
    We would be a favorite to win the WS by midseason.

    I think that we'll regret allowing Greinke to leave while saving the $50M... as $50M is chicken shit in the big picture... and Iwakuma is NOT a #2 SP

    I think that Utley is a waste but that losing Kendrick is worse and is now going to kick our ass repeatedly as he was the only clutch consistent run producer beyond Adrian.

    But since this is the TWC sucks ass thread I'll leave it with that.

    IMO we will be fine the IF.
    Seager can hold down down and if he moves there are plenty of guys on the team that can fill in at SS.
    Kike may developer into Justin Turner 2 but with even more range defensively. With JT and Kike who needs an aging Ben Zorbrist?
    I would want to see what Kike can do a full season at 2B, or start off with Peraza to see if he is ready.

    It ain't about Kike, Turner or Seager.. its about the lack of quality SP's... and losing Greinke left shoes simply too big to be filled 'prospects'

    I'm gonna disagree, it's been proven with Kershaw that if the run support isn't there the best pitchers can't win. Up the offensive game and suddenly the pitching looks better.

    Just sayin'.

    There are rumors on Wall Street of activist investors making a move with Time Warner and floating some significant proposals. Nothing directly involving the Dodger contract but activist have a habit of upsetting the apple cart for better or worse. If true lets hope one of the outcomes is resolution of the Dodger TVsituation.

    This however is relevant and timely and significant.
