Kenta Maeda’s early struggles have cost him his rotation spot, as Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters (including J.P. Hoornstra of the Orange County Register) that Maeda will be moved to the bullpen when Alex Wood returns from the disabled list. “This is not temporary for Kenta,” Roberts said. “We need him to get back on track, get some momentum. I don’t know what day he’s going to pitch but he’s open to it, and it’s a credit to him as a teammate.” Maeda has a 5.16 ERA over 52 1/3 IP, thanks in large part to problems keeping the ball in the park; Maeda has already surrendered nine homers this season.
Thus, another illustration of the tenuous construct of the Dodger SR. Many questions unanswered and increasing in number as the season progresses, instead of being solidified.
He struggles mightily in the first inning but I wonder how he'd look with letting it all out in 2-3 inning stints
Probably like an Asian guy. Seriously, with his repertoire of pitches, I don't think in one or two innings, it would make much difference ( letting it all out). What you say is true, he initially is weak...I don't think making him a RP is really a good idea, unless it is a rare instance he has the feel on his movement immediately, which usually comes to him after damage is done. Why would it change? In other words, you can't get blood out of a stone.
i think we've talked about it in person and my sister in law was born there still a pretty racist comment on my part i'm sorry truly sorry im not sorry pee wee likes this
fuck dude not racist at all or not any more racist than any of the other shit we post if we can't laugh at ourselves then we'll turn into fucken liberals fuck that Karl Marx thinks he agrees with this, but isn't quite certain.
Not to change up or anything, but at 1/3 of the season come and gone, is it accurate that Rich Hill has made but 3 starts? That's not so good, right?
I said that early in the season. White guys hit 1 to 4 and the browns, blacks, and tans hit 5-8. White starters are 1 2 3, yellow, brown and tan starters 4 5 6. The script flips for the bench and the relievers, appropriately.
